Recap: Building Brighter Futures Auction 2024 – Jazz Hands
We recently hosted our annual fundraiser, the “Building Brighter Futures Auction.” This fun event, held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, brought together the local community, supporters, and sponsors in a shared commitment to empowering and nurturing the youth of the region. With the goal of raising funds to support vital programs and services, the auction proved to be an incredible success.
The venue for the evening was transformed into a vibrant and energetic space, reflecting the spirit of hope and opportunity that the Northeast Youth Center embodies. The event was attended by a diverse group of individuals, including prominent community members, business leaders, dedicated volunteers, and caring individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.
The auction kicked off with a heartwarming speech from the center’s director, who highlighted the significant impact the organization has had on the lives of countless children and teenagers over the years. Attendees were inspired by stories of resilience, transformation, and success, reinforcing their commitment to supporting the cause. Molly Allen and Ken Witter hosted the event, and we were honored to have Levi Horn, a NEYC alumnus, speak about his success!
The auction featured an impressive array of donated items, services, and experiences that captivated the audience’s attention and drove enthusiastic bidding.
Throughout the evening, guests were treated to a delightful culinary experience featuring a diverse selection of delicious food and refreshing beverages. The atmosphere was electric as attendees mingled, networked, and engaged in friendly competition for their desired auction items.
